Daisy Bags is now offering sewing parties.

Learn how to make a bag out of a placemat or an old t-shirt. Invite your friends over for a relaxing and fun evening of sewing all in the convenience of your own home!

2 options:
1. Placemat Bag: Make a bag out of a standard-size, rectangular cloth placemat. Bring one placemat to make a small bag or 2 for a big bag. Guests supply their own placemats. I will bring thread and ribbon for the handles.

2. T-shirt Bag: Make a bag out of an old T-shirt. This is a great project for those old loved tees. Great for taking to the beach or using as a "green" grocery bag. I will supply the thread.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own machines to the class. I will have one available for those without a machine. No more than 2 guests per machine. Sewing experience is not necessary as I will walk you through each step-from threading the machine to the last stitch on the bag.

The party run approximately 2 hours and is held at your home.
If there is time, we will start on a second bag. These bags make great gifts.

Cost is $25/person with a 5 person minimum/9 max. Hostess is free.
